COMEDK is an autonomous institution vested with the responsibility to conduct and manage COMEDK-UGET 2020 to filter out the eligible students for admission to engineering courses in particular. For medical and dental courses, the autonomous institution will consider the NEET 2020 score. Admission to architecture course would be done based on the NATA score. The state-level entrance exam will be conducted to fill up around 20,000 seats in 190 participating engineering colleges. It will be held at approximately 300 centres across the country.

Academic Qualification for Undergraduate Engineering Courses –

• The applicants must have completed 10+2 Higher Secondary or second PUC or equivalent exam from a recognised Board or University.
• They should have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (for general candidates) and 40% (for SC/ST/OBC students of Karnataka) in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry with English as a mandatory subject.
• Candidates must ensure that they have passed in the individual subject.
• Mathematics and Physics are compulsory subjects. However, one must have Bio-Technology or Computer Science or Biology or Electronics or Chemistry as one of the optional subjects.

The counselling will be done based on the merit list prepared by the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka. The qualified candidates can participate in the counselling process in July 2020.
